Number to on my 'wishlist' is Iceland. Yes, I know. I am always cold. And when I actually would ever visit Iceland, I don't think I would ever be able to get warm, although maybe in one of those lagoons. But well... Iceland seems very beautiful to me. The clean, cold air, the way the light falls, the barren landscape. Iceland seems pretty much very empty, and that seems like something incredible.
En IJsland heeft natuurlijk enkele natuurfenomenen die bijzonder zijn. Zoals geisers, gletsjers, noorderlicht, watervallen, etc.And Iceland has ofcourse some natural phenomena that are rather special. Such as geysers, glaciers, norther light, waterfalls and so on.
About one third of the Icelandic people live in the capital Reykjavik. This should be a beautiful city. In an travel guide I once bought it is being written that visitors usually ask themselves if it is a scaled down city, of a scaled up town. Either way, the city is a calm one. And that seems so nice to me. Besides I have been told Reykjavik has many bookstores, which is always a plus.
